Lucky Orphans' mission is "People Helping Horses Heal People." We are a nonprofit horse sanctuary and open to the public every day from 9-3. No appointment needed! Just check in at the office. Our horses have been rescued from abuse or retired from racing and give back to the community through our equine assisted development programs. We are accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries, Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance, EQUUS Foundation and the Certified Horsemanship Association. We hold our NYS Ag & Markets DAHP, and we hold a NYS Office of Professions waiver to offer psychotherapy. We are proud to bring the best care to our horses and the best services to you.
