MaryLand - A Haven for Horses is a retirement home for Standardbred race horses. Located on a 15-acre farm in LeRoy, NY, MaryLand - Haven For Horses was established in 2021 as a non-profit sanctuary for retired Standardbred racehorses. It is MaryLand’s mission to provide them with a safe and dignified place to live out their days comfortably. In service of our mission, it is our vision to offer professional horse care in a nurturing environment to retired Standardbred racehorses for the duration of their natural lives. MaryLand does not retrain or adopt out; once a horse is accepted it lives out its life freely on the sanctuary grounds.
